High-rack storage systems by Siempelkamp Handling Systeme are used when high storage and retrieval performance and optimal use of space and individual access is needed. The storing, removal and relocation of stacks is automatically controlled by a storage maintenance system.

Inside the storage facility the products are moved on floor mounted rails by storage and retrieval machines (RBG) designed as 2- or 4-mast systems.

It is used for the storage and retrieval of flat goods, for example stacks of boards and paper pallets, as well as for long goods.

 

 

 

In a climate-controlled storage facility the temperature, humidity, and air quality are kept at a desired value. This is done independently from fluctuations of the ambient conditions caused by neighboring rooms or the surrounding air.
